Terms of Service

The rules of engagement for using DNAI's platform.

Research Use Only

DNAI is for research use only. It is NOT approved by the FDA or any regulatory body as a medical device or clinical decision support system. Do not use DNAI outputs as the sole basis for clinical treatment decisions.

1. Acceptable Use

You May Use DNAI For

  • Academic and scientific research
  • Drug discovery and development (preclinical)
  • Clinical trial design and patient stratification
  • Retrospective validation studies
  • Educational and training purposes
  • Internal R&D and hypothesis generation

You May NOT Use DNAI For

  • Clinical diagnosis or treatment decisions
  • Patient-facing applications without regulatory approval
  • Unauthorized commercial resale or sublicensing
  • Processing data without proper consent or IRB approval
  • Reverse engineering or model extraction
  • Any use that violates applicable laws

2. User Responsibilities

Data Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring that all data uploaded to DNAI complies with applicable laws (HIPAA, GDPR), institutional policies, and ethics requirements. Obtain proper consent and IRB approval as required.

Account Security

Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. Enable multi-factor authentication. Report any unauthorized access immediately to security@dnai.bio.

Accurate Information

Provide accurate organizational and contact information. Keep your account details up to date.

Interpretation of Results

DNAI outputs are probabilistic predictions, not diagnoses. You are responsible for appropriate interpretation and validation of results before acting on them.

3. Intellectual Property

DNAI Platform

The DNAI platform, including its algorithms (H-BDVAE, Neural ODE, Hypernetwork), user interface, and documentation, is owned by DNAI and protected by copyright, patent, and trade secret laws.

Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you upload. DNAI claims no ownership over your patient data, omics data, or research results.

Generated Outputs

Predictions, simulations, and analyses generated by DNAI from your data may be used for your permitted research purposes. Publication and commercialization rights are governed by your subscription agreement.

4. Disclaimers & Limitations

"As Is" Provision

DNAI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

No Guarantee of Accuracy

AI models have inherent limitations. Predictions are probabilistic and based on patterns in training data. We do not warrant that results will be accurate, reliable, complete, or error-free. All outputs should be validated independently.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DNAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the platform.

5. Subscription & Termination

  • Subscription Terms: Access to DNAI is governed by your subscription agreement. Fees are billed as specified in your order form.
  • Termination for Breach: We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms, with notice except in cases of egregious violations.
  • Data Export: Upon termination, you may request export of your data within 30 days. After this period, data will be deleted per our retention policy.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
